About Me

Its the Details
After developing hotels for many years and seeing the transformations that great interior design can provide, I became interested in the field myself. So, I went back to study the basics, hoping that I could better interact with design teams and express my ideas about the concepts I wanted to achieve using their lingo. I was amazed at the intrinsic nature of interior design work. Hopefully from this blog you will gain some ideas yourself for either professional or personal remodeling projects. My long history in the southwest, Arizona in particular, certainly has influenced what design styles I prefer. But I will try to keep this blog as balanced as possible. a lot of influence on the styles I prefer but will try to keep it as balanced as possible.

Design Impacts our Lives

Interior design is more than just the reinvention of old home décor. It is a method by which an individual can express his or her taste and style. It is the way in which a business can impact the lives of anyone walking in its doors. Interior design is a part of life.

Just picture a place that makes you feel at home and comfortable. Does it have bare walls or are their pictures or windows? Are the floors concrete or is there carpeting or tile? Is it filled with nothingness or is it filled with furniture of some sort?

For the most part, people feel more comfortable in places of designed structure. Whether that design takes place in the home or at an office or restaurant, ambiance and décor are everything. The interior design of a place gives it life, healthiness, and structure; it tells you how to feel and how to think; it exudes warmth or elicits emotion.

In the end, this demonstrates that design impacts our lives. Of course, it’s up to the designer to decide if life should be impacted for the good of the viewer or for the bad.
